Nathan Twombley
Founder & Biographer
Mr. Twombley is a Marine Corps veteran and served from 2015-2019 in Okinawa, Japan and San Diego, California. After service, he earned his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Southern Maine. He has been an active member in the veteran community in Maine since starting college in 2019. He started Silent Heroes in 2025 after researching a World War I veteran named Sergeant Major Edwin Clarity which sparked his interest in honoring the memory of long deceased veterans.
